The large number of automobiles around the world caused serious problems for environment and human life. In recent decades, the researches related to transportation have focused the development of high-efficiency, clean, and safe transportation. Electric vehicles (EVs), hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs), and fuel cell hybrid electric vehicles (FCHEVs) have been generally proposed to replace conventional vehicles because of the potential to improve fuel economy and reduce the emissions of conventional vehicle.

2. Power split control using geographic information

- Improve the fuel economy
